Was looking for help with INTENSE jaw pain, had called multiple places and couldn’t get an appointment for months… got in touch with Jay and was able to get an appointment the very next day! He thoroughly assessed my posture and its issues, determining the root causes of my TMJ (I thought I’d have to have surgery to get relief). With a combination of posture correction, dry needling, and exercises to increase my strength, my jaw pain has gone from a 6-7 to a 1 within just three weeks. I’m immensely grateful for Jay’s help and expertise, and would highly recommend his care to anyone experiencing jaw pain/TMJ. Additionally, this was my first experience with dry needling and chiropractic care. I was a bit skeptical at first, but it truly has helped so, so much. To any other skeptics out there- you never know until you try! It’s helped me quite a bit. And if you’re gonna try, you might as well try with Jay at hANS. You should DEFINITELY try with Jay. I have been dealing with horrible TMJ issues for some time now. I have using night guards and have gone to the dentist several times with no real relief. I have had intense migraines, intermittent lockjaw, jaw pain, neck pain, and even what felt like a stabbing pain in my inner ear. I have been dealing with all this discomfort all day everyday for about close to 7 months. All the other professionals I went to only wanted to treat my symptoms with Botox injections, Low Level Laser Treatments, and expensive night guards. It's all constant upkeep, temporary, and costly.
Jay has been nothing, but great. From the first consultation to my second treatment, I've been feeling way better. His attentiveness, useful tips, and dry needling technique has made quite the difference. I haven't finished my treatments, but I can already tell you that with the 2 trips I've made to him the pain is almost completely gone and I feel way better. Jay is thoughtful in his approach, listened to all my symptoms and helped me problem solve so many of my physical issues. Within just a few sessions, my neck and shoulder pain significantly decreased and my strength and flexibility increased. I have been suffering from chronic migraines for 3 years and have seen many healthcare professional’s to help resolve my pain. I've been on my own internet and webMD search off/on for the past 8 years for my MJ, tinnitus and neck tightness. My dentist had sent me to a Denver TMJ dentist that charged me $5000 or for a splint that didn't work and actually made my bite and issue worse. I was concerned my nighttime clenching and pain would never resolve and that the disc in my jaw would never improve or relocate or whatever it needed to do. I saw these reviews and was skeptical at first. But Dr Jay really did help me resolve it. He offered me insights and changes that no one had ever brought to my attention before. Everything is (finally!) pretty much gone now. I just notice in really quiet rooms occasionally some slight ear ringing. But it was constant before. I'm relieved to have found a solution and wish my dentist had recommended him from the beginning!

Jay has been a great help in my neck/face/jaw pain journey. I was having chronic pain in my jaw (TMJD) from clenching at night and couldn’t really chew. I saw my dentist, an ortho, even my primary Dr and an ENT with no success. Finally got a chance to see Jay and after a few sessions of PT and dry needling I found relief and was able eat a baby carrot (and other normal food) with no pain. So a big win for me. If you’re dealing either with chronic jaw pain and tension headaches do yourself a favor and schedule a consult.
