Do yourself a big favor and open your bank account somewhere else or else you will regret. I had read all the bad reviews prior to open mine and thought it would not affect me. Wrong. They put your account on hold for no reason. When you try to pay someone they tell you to call Zelle, but you call Zelle and it turns out it is just E-central freezing your funds. Then you need to call them, which takes regularly 10 to 15 mins to get to speak with someone that is regularly not nice at all, and they tell you that it is Zelle, but somehow they magically release your payment. So it is E-central who is illegally holding your funds. Even after I called them three times this week asking them to release all holds in my account which is my right to use my money. They won't do it. I will report them as well, because there hasn't been any fraudulent activity in my account ever. Not only once. So they don't have a valid reason to do it. On top of that, their operating systems (website, atm, etc.) are extremely outdated and not user friendly at all. Stay away.

Second time I went to the Pasadena location to deposit money on the weekend and and the ATM wasn't working. Why isn't the CU notified when the ATM breaks down and a service company can go out and make the repairs.

Had a savings account as a backup with them, however since the interest rates were so low, I changed to a bank with a 4.1% interest rate instead (more money in my pocket). I kept the account open because despite not having convenient locations to make the occasional cash deposit, I thought I could use them for a lower interest rate when applying for a used car loan. Their site advertises 6.24% APR for those with excellent credit (which I have). So when I was told my rate would be 8.5% I asked why and was told it was because of my relationship with them not being my primary bank. So I told the loan officer I was going to close the account, to which she was unphased, and I followed through. The account doesn't suit me and I was being charged fees monthly for being below a monthly balance. I only gave them a second star because when interacting in person, the staff is really friendly and efficient.

I was trying to get more information about some fruad alerts on my account and it's really frustrating when the person thats supposed to help you has such a condescending attitude when you're just asking questions. Ray needs to work on his customer service skills or lack of.

Hi Everyone, On 3-28-2023 11am, First time I called and I agree with Olga, I have to call several times after a call back I got hang up on. I called again and again no answer use the call back and no one calls me back. I continually calling for several time and finally someone answers the phone, I ask a question and only gave me two option mail in a letter format and a photo ID. or go to there website to fill up a form for the request to close your account, but never mentioned about just go in person, all the hassle just to close your bank account.

Became like other Banks! charge for any little thing starting with balance below $100 on checking when there was no Min. required last year, if a payment is made with out funds on checking account you get charge $29 even if you have money in your savings! now if you want to allow them to pull from savings to pay whatever needs to be pay from checking theres also a fee!! the catch is that they Do not call you to inform you of this!! you need to wait for a letter that gets send out which take a few days to find out you are being charged penalty!!! when they can just pick up the phone to let you know or set the automated system to call you to inform you!! instead they go the letter way 3 days X $29. if you know what i mean!! looking to closing my account with them…. Bad and shady service

I have been a member for years. Alittle disappointed with using mobile to deposit checks. Very misleading when it says 2 days and then check doesn't drop for 4 days . I think the information communicated should be more clear for the customer. This was my first time depositing a check thru mobile and my last. I won't do that again.
And I have to agree with another customer in saying I have got some pretty rude reps.
