This school is often overlooked because of its location but I can't speak highly enough about West Campus. My niece attended school here and had a terrific experience. There are less pressures to fit in like at the East Campus and the teachers make the students feel welcome. They were so helpful and gave her the guidance that she needed to reach her goals and get her ready for the challenges that she would face in college. She is now a student at UC Berkeley and continues to mention that she would be struggling if it wasn't for her accelerated teaches at West. I would recommend this campus to anyone who wants their child to be well prepared for their academic future.

There is a mixed feeling with this school. I went here for two years, my freshman year, and sophomore year. Freshman year honestly looking back, was good here. I had leadership with Sarah Tozlian, who by the way was a GREAT activities director. She had the whole campus feeling the grizzly spirit. Also, the people were cool. There was diversity and and a good school atmosphere. But, suddenly, things can change. As soon as my sophomore year started, the counselors slacked on the job a lot more, Tozlian left, leaving the school with NO spirit and sucky activities, also, the swarm of new freshman and younger grades came in and they are a MESS. Literally every month there was a fight and or some type of conflict. The newer kids would walk around yelling and just being plain annoying. There was literally one day when there was 4 fights in one lunch period just to cover for a huge 5th one. Also, some teachers claim to care but do a terrible job at teaching and make it impossible to catch up. It's honestly just terrible. There is a couple of good teachers at west that I can honestly say we're amazing, but the rest are uptight and the new social status is terrible. Nothing but ghetto kids ruling the campus annoying everyone else who isn't part of that label. I am at east campus now and honestly I feel a like it a little better then west. The teachers are good and people mind their own business.
