The people at Mag's Auto explained in detail everything they found that was wrong, and explained what things could wait, what things didn't need to be changed, and what things should be fixed. Called and asked to see if they could diagnose a high idle problem and single knock in my engine. They said no appointment was needed, to just stop by quick. I did, they looked at it and listened to the knock. Within 10 minutes diagnosed that and the high idle. Didn't charge me a thing. Excellent customer service, I would and will recommend Mags to anybody looking for Auto repair. Just good, honest mechanics that do good business.

After caring for a relative for a week, I was on my way home 3 hours south when my car started having a blinking engine light. I called the local big box dealer and told them I was from out of town and had an emergency engine problem and I needed to leave to go back to work the next day.I was told that I needed an appointment and the soonest appointment was 3 or 4 days out. They didn't care that I was in a desperate situation or that I was stranded! They also evidently didn't care if they turned away business!

I took my car to Mag's and they said they would take care of me right away as I needed immediate assistance. A few hours later they had repaired my vehicle with a very competitive price. I was on the road less than 3 hours later than I had planned to leave. If you are looking for an honest business who will take care of you without all the frills and extra costs, check out Mag's! I'm from New York and did not know of any car service centers in the area when I moved here. My engine light came on the other day, and with a sinking feeling, I asked around for any recommendations for a mechanic. Called a few places and the charge was $90-$100 to run the computer and check the codes to find the problem; some places would or would not apply that fee to the cost to fix. I called Mag's and they told me it would be free to check it out; so of course I made the appointment. Just got back from my appointment and it literally took 5 minutes to run the scan and interpret. They told me that they remembered that my car had a recall on some of the codes back in 2010 and were going to look into whether or not I was still covered. Turns out I still was and they printed out all the information I needed and called my car's dealership service center to make an appointment for me and verified my coverage. Left the shop not paying a thing and I would have given them 100 bucks just because they were so great. I will definitely be taking my car to them from now on. Thank you for the great customer service.

Bringing our daughter to college and our alternator went out on the highway. Managed to get the car to Mags and they were very helpful! They had the car repaired the same day and we could head home knowing she was settled in to school and she didn't have to worry about her car. They helped make a very stressful situation much less stressful!
